Rehana Events shall endeavour to deliver the products to the recipient as per the delivery option selected by the user while placing the order. The delivery time is subject to the location you provide for delivery. For the convenience and requirement of the customer, Rehana Events provides two options of deliveries — ‘Fixed Time Deliveries’ and ‘Free Deliveries’. Rehana Events charges a nominal amount from customers for selecting fixed time delivery, and such charges are displayed on the webpage while selecting the timeframe for delivery.
However, under fixed time deliveries, Rehana Events is obliged to deliver your product as per your opted time, but this is always subject to factors beyond its reasonable control (“Force Majeure Events”) including unexpected travel delays from courier partners and transporters due to weather conditions, political disruptions, strikes, wars, lockdowns, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will proactively reach out to you. Please check your emails and SMS regularly for updates.
Flowers may be delivered in fully bloomed, semi-bloomed, or bud stage. The delivery cannot be redirected to any other address.
Before any festival or major occasion, we suggest placing your order at least five (5) days in advance.
Products that are hand-delivered cannot be delivered along with courier products. The products may reach the recipient at two different times or on separate days.
For same-day standard time delivery, orders must be received by Rehana Events before 6:00 PM (Monday - Sunday, IST).
For same-day fixed time delivery, orders must be received before 6:30 PM (Monday - Sunday, IST).
For same-day midnight delivery, orders must be received before 7:00 PM (Monday - Sunday, IST).
You acknowledge that the requested delivery time is non-binding. Estimated delivery time depends on the product’s availability and the destination to which you want the product delivered.
Delivery may be affected by and take longer due to Force Majeure Events. In such cases, we will proactively reach out to you. You must check your e-mails and SMS regularly for updates.
For perishable items like cakes and flowers, we attempt delivery of your order only once. In the event the delivery is not executed during the attempt, you shall still be charged for the order, and no re-delivery will be possible. We will consider the order executed in the following cases:
- Wrong shipping/delivery address
- Recipient not available
- Premises locked
- Recipient refusing to accept the delivery
If the recipient is not available, they can inform the delivery person to deliver the order to the gate, reception, or a neighbour.
Proof of delivery will be provided in case of any dispute regarding delivery.
If there is no one available at the shipping address to accept the delivery at the time of delivery, the order will not be considered late. Hence, in such cases, no refunds, cancellations, or liabilities will be entertained. We will still try our best as mentioned below:
- Call the recipient to schedule an appropriate delivery time.
- Leave a note on the recipient’s door asking them to contact us to schedule delivery.
- Leave the order in a covered, secure area (porch, garage, or entrance).
- Leave the order with a neighbour and place a message on the recipient’s door.
Midnight Deliveries
Subject to the other terms of the shipping disclaimer, delivery will be made between 11:00 PM to 11:59 PM on the chosen delivery date.
Note: Please choose the date of delivery a day prior to the occasion.
Fixed Time Deliveries
While we will try our best to ensure the order is delivered as per the fixed time slot selected, subject to the other terms of the shipping disclaimer, the order could be delivered ±30 minutes of the selected time.
Delivery of Courier Products
Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms and Conditions, in the event the order is made to deliver through any courier agency or third party, Rehana Events does not make any representation or warranty regarding such deliveries.
The products will be delivered through courier companies, and the delivery is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
For products shipped through courier partners, the delivery date is an estimate. Your order may be delivered a day before or after the chosen date.
You acknowledge that the requested delivery date of such products is non-binding. Estimated delivery depends on product availability and destination. Deliveries through third-party couriers will not occur on Sundays or Public Holidays.
Courier partners generally do not call prior to delivering an order, so please provide an address where someone will be present to receive the package. The delivery cannot be redirected to any other address.
All courier orders are carefully packed and shipped from our warehouse. Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number to trace your order. Courier partners may experience delays due to holidays or strikes.
If the recipient is unavailable, delivery will be attempted twice. If the delivery location is incorrect or the recipient refuses to accept the parcel, delivery shall be deemed complete.
We will consider the order executed in the below cases:
- Wrong shipping/delivery address
- Recipient not available
- Premises locked
- Recipient refusing delivery
Delivery to Hospitals Policy
Rehana Events delivery partners are experienced in making deliveries to hospitals. When placing your order, please include:
- Hospital name
- Full address
- Telephone number
- Recipient’s name
- Room or ward number
We will send your order in accordance with facility procedures, as most hospitals do not allow direct delivery to rooms. Many ICU patients are not permitted to receive flowers, so please check hospital norms before placing such orders.
Delivery to Hotels Policy
Our delivery personnel and partners are experienced in hotel deliveries. Please ensure you provide:
- Hotel name and full address
- Telephone number of the recipient and hotel
- Recipient’s name and room number
- Tour company name (if applicable)
If the recipient has not checked in on the delivery date, the order will be left at reception and considered executed. If the person has checked out, the order will also be considered executed, and no refund will be issued.
Delivery to Wedding Halls/Marriages
For deliveries to wedding venues, Rehana Events may not ensure delivery directly to the bride or groom. You must provide details of an alternate person to receive the order. If the person is unavailable, delivery will be made to a family member.
Delivery to Hostels/PG/Cantonment/Enclosed Premises
Our delivery partners can deliver to such premises; however, please provide:
- Name and address of the facility
- Telephone numbers of recipient and facility
- Recipient’s room number
The recipient may need to collect the delivery from the gate or send someone on their behalf. The order may be handed over to security or left at reception, and it will be considered executed.
Delivery at Remote Locations
Orders can only be delivered in cities available in our database. Remote locations depend on store availability. We cannot commit exact delivery times to such locations.
Please note that flowers, cakes, and perishable products are sourced locally. Some locations may not support delivery of natural flowers or cakes.
No deliveries will be made on national holidays. Orders will be delivered on the next working day. In case of floods, heavy rains, bandhs, elections, curfews, traffic restrictions, or other impediments, Rehana Events reserves the right to reschedule the delivery.
We do not deliver to railway stations, metro stations, or airports.
Deemed Delivery
Under any order category, Rehana Events will attempt delivery only once. In the event of failure due to the following reasons, you shall still be charged, and no re-delivery will be made:
- Wrong shipping/delivery address
- Recipient not available
- Premises locked
- Recipient refusing delivery
If the recipient is unavailable, the delivery person may contact the customer to deliver the order to the gate, reception, or neighbour. As many orders are meant to be surprises, we avoid contacting the recipient directly.
No requests for cancellation, refund, or modification will be entertained in such cases. Therefore, please ensure recipient details and availability before placing your order.
Upon successful delivery, Rehana Events representatives or delivery personnel will request acknowledgment from the recipient. In case of refusal, the delivery confirmation email sent by Rehana Events shall serve as sufficient proof of delivery in any dispute.
